Payment Information and Bid Deposit

Everything sells "as is, where is"

We recommend that you visit the auction site to inspect any items you'd like to buy before bidding on auction day. You may also send someone to the site to conduct the inspection on your behalf.

Every auction is live

If you're the highest bidder above the reserve price when the auctioneer announces that an item has been sold, you're the new owner of that item. Bids are irrevocable, and all sales are final. Owners are forbidden by contract from bidding on items they are selling.

Registration and deposits

Registration to bid on site is free. You will be required to place a refundable bid deposit. Please be aware that you must present valid photo identification when you register at the auction site (e.g. your dealers book, identity card, passport or driver's license).

Payment and removal

Purchases must be paid in full within seven (7) days of the end of the auction.

Buyers cannot remove their purchases from the auction site until their invoice is paid in full.

If JSA can't deliver clear title on a purchase, the buyer is entitled to a full refund of the purchase price.

Payment Terms

  • All payments must be made in Japanese Yen (¥).
  • A 2.5% administrative fee will be charged on lots selling for more than 250,000 Yen, up to a maximum of 95,000 Yen per lot
  • A 10% administrative fee will be charged on lots selling for 250,000 Yen or less
  • NOTE:Purchases cannot be removed from the auction site until paid for in full. If paid for with non-certified funds, items will not be released until funds have cleared with our bank. This policy will be strictly enforced.

Online Bidding Deposit Wire Transfer Information

Submit your bid deposit by wire transfer to one of the following accounts. Include your bidder number, account name and auction location with your transfer.

Note: Wire transfer deposits must be made at least two banking days before the auction.

If you are a successful bidder your bid deposit will be applied to your purchases, and if necessary, your bid deposit will be converted to the currency of the auction at the noon rate on the day immediately following the conclusion of the auction. If you submit your deposit by wire transfer and you are not a successful bidder, your deposit will be refunded in the same currency in which JSA received it, less any wire transfer fees.
